- We CONNECT people with each other, to their community, and to the world at large.
- We INSPIRE exploration, innovation, and imagination.
- We EMPOWER people with resources, knowledge, and literacy in all its forms.
- We COLLABORATE with our customers, each other, and our community
Our Mission
The Fort St. John Public Library is a community cornerstone, providing a variety of information and support for lifelong learning in a welcoming, entertaining and safe environment. The library hosts creative, community-oriented programs and provides friendly information services.
The FSJPL is a Library Association and is governed by Part 4 of the BC Library Act. Library Associations receive no direct tax support and operate on grants and fundraising.
The FSJPL charges fees for photocopying, printing, faxing, and laminating.
As a non-profit CRA-registered charity, these fees are charged to help defray the cost of supplying these services to the City of Fort St. John and the Peace River Regional District (Areas B & C).
